Page 1: Climate modellers predict sea ice surrounding the North Pole could disappear
during summer as soon as 2013. Uncertainty continues to plague the federal opposition
as leader Brendan Nelson heads overseas leaving behind much speculation that Peter Costello
will take the reigns - a suggestion the former treasurer is refusing to comment on. A
bill before parliament could mean property settlement between splitting de facto partners
could mean the same as for a married couple.

World: Pakistan will investigate if its intelligence service was involved in the bombing
of an Indian embassy in India which killed 41 people last month.

Finance: Legal action may be launched against former auditors of collapsed electronics
payment company, Bill Express, after creditors found the agents had allegedly mishandled
accounts.

Sport: After his sudden departure from the club, Sonny Bill Williams was sent a terse
text message from Bulldogs coach Steve Folkes which included: "this is the worst decision
of yr life".
